When I heard the news that Rosie, a beautiful Mastiff belonging to friends of ours, was sick, it broke my heart. Rosie is such a sweet and docile dog. She is blessed to have such a loving family in her life. When Anthony and Abi found out she had a mass on her face, they were told that was most likely cancerous. I felt like they were in need of some special photos to look back on if things got bad. Our pets are such a huge part of our lives and it's so hard to image living without them. Rosie and the family had a beautiful day for photos at home and then at the Borderland Vineyards. And guess what, it turns out that Rosie's mass wasn't cancerous after all! Since her session, she was able to have it removed and will make a full recovery. I LOVE happy endings!
If you know of a deserving individual or family in need, please contact me. I take on a limited number of donated sessions each year. I am also involved in the Magic Hour, an organization that is made up of photographers offering their services to those who are fighting cancer.
